One of the most common comments we hear from customers is I didn't know this place was so BIG! From the road, we look like a small garden center. We have over ten acres of nursery stock, ranging from flats of annuals, to evergreens sixteen foot and above and just about everything in between.
When you come to see us, be prepared to spend some time meandering, looking at plants, but bring your boots! We have a large investment in the plants on the ground here and must water to keep everything happy. That translates into muddy conditions. We do our best to keep it under control. Remember though- We're serious about horticulture! To truly appreciate the scope of everything we have here to offer, you must spend at least an hour or two just walking around.
When you first enter, you will come upon our gift shop, with lots of exciting outdoor living items, pottery, and one of the largest assortments of statuary and fountains to be found in Morris County.
One of the things we pride ourselves on here at Plant Detectives is our Staff. Whether you are a die hard japanese maple collector, or a beginning vegetable gardener, have deer issues, or just want a few flowers, our staff is here to help you. We have some of the best in the business here to help you, with over 100 years of combined experience. At Plant Detectives we're serious about horticulture!
