Helelbores - Also known as Lenton Rose, this cold hardy perennial blooms late winter to earyl spring in a variety of colors. One of the first flowers to bloom during the year.
Fothergilla Gardenii - This deciduous shrub blooms white between mid April to early May. Also has great fall color consisting of orange, red, and yellow foliage.
Okame Cherry - Known for its early abundant pink blooms, this small to medium size ornamental tree is the first tree to bloom during the spring. The leaves appear after the tree blooms which makes the flowers extremely visible.
