Herbert Azalea
Rhododendron 'Herbert' is a deciduous azalea that blooms in late spring to early summer with showy, fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers that range from pale pink to deep rose. The shrub grows to a height of 5-8 feet and has a spreading growth habit. Its foliage is green and turns a reddish-bronze color in the fall. Herbert Azalea prefers acidic soil and partial shade, making it an excellent addition to woodland gardens or shaded areas of the landscape. It is also attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
