Weekend Forsythia
The Weekend Forsythia (Forsythia x intermedia 'Weekend') is a versatile deciduous shrub that adds a splash of golden yellow color to the landscape. It features abundant clusters of bright yellow flowers that emerge in early spring, before the leaves appear, signaling the arrival of the new season. The Weekend Forsythia has an upright and arching growth habit, reaching a height of about 6 to 8 feet with a similar spread. Its medium-green leaves provide an attractive backdrop to the vibrant flowers. This cultivar is known for its hardiness and adaptability, tolerating a wide range of soil conditions and growing well in full sun to partial shade.
