Kaleidoscope Abelia
Abelia grandiflora 'Kaleidoscope' is a striking and colorful shrub that provides year-round interest in the landscape. This dwarf evergreen shrub has variegated foliage that emerges as bright yellow with green centers in spring, then turns to golden yellow with green centers in summer and takes on hues of orange and red in fall. Its compact habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens or for use as a low hedge or border plant. In summer, it produces small, fragrant white or pinkish flowers that attract bees and butterflies. It prefers full sun to partial shade and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types.
