Orangeola Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum 'Orangeola' is a cultivar of the Japanese maple tree, known for its striking orange-red foliage. It is a slow-growing deciduous small tree that can reach up to 8 feet tall and wide. Its leaves are deeply lobed with a delicate, lacy appearance. They emerge in the spring with a bright orange-red color that fades to a more subdued orange as the season progresses. In the fall they turn shades of red and orange, adding to the tree's seasonal interest. 'Orangeola' is a perfect accent plant in any garden or landscape, but can also be grown as a container plant or bonsai. 'Orangeola' prefers partial shade and well-drained soil, and is relatively low-maintenance once established.
